The tuner needs permission to access the microphone on your device. If you grant this permission, the app will read and process audio data for the purpose of tuning your instrument. Any such data is discarded immediately after processing and is never used in any way other than to perform the tuning function. The microphone is only accessed while the tuner function is selected. If you do not wish to use the tuner function, you do not need to grant access to your microphone. If you do grant access to your microphone, you may withdraw this permission at any time via your Android settings without affecting other features of the app.
